Just got back! I spent about four days in Honduras, then moved on to Belize for three, then Cancun for two, and finally the Bahamas for just one. Honduras was by far my favorite! The people were wonderful, it's the most preserved (culturally and historically) of the places I went, and the natural beauty is to die for. If you get a chance to go, don't hesitate.
Belize was also very nice - the food was excellent and overall it a pleasant surprise to me. Cancun was okay I suppose, but I still appreciate my beloved Rocky Point more as far as Mexican destinations go. I wasn't really there long enough to have a strong feeling one way or the other, though - I'm pretty neutral on it. And finally, the Bahamas were my least favorite! The islands I saw were small, crowded, and sort of dirty... Again, I wasn't really there for too long, but I guess I don't care to go back even if I had two weeks!
